Car park free, opposite main gate; dogs allowed on leads; suitable for picnics. Disabled car park, opposite main gate, 50m from entrance. Disabled visitors may park within the grounds ,enquire at ticket office. Access to castle: Terrace Range and parts of Riding School accessible to wheelchair users. All steps within the castle are easy for ambulant disabled visitors. Many good viewpoints. Grounds: all accessible on level, impacted gravel paths. Some steps but alternative routes benches provided. Toilets are to be adapted for wheelchair users; easy steps. Snacks available.
