A 14th century medieval packhorse bridge with two pointed arches spans the tiny ford a tributary of the River Ivel, with a man size nook providing space for carts to cross.
A short walk from the bridge is the John O'Gaunt pub, which is a popular haunt for walkers and birdwatchers there is also a piano stacked high with music for customers to play.
