URPoint Details
Situated in the southern tip of the county, this small village has both Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire on its borders.
A scattering of Saxon dwellings, Studham is half in Hertfordshire and half in Bedfordshire, and it became wholly part of the latter in 1897.
The picturesque woodland site of Longrove in spring is fantastic with a carpet of bluebells. Some of the dells have strange names: Longspoons Wood, Dedmansey Wood and Highwayman’s Corner (said to have connections with Dick Turpin).
