The harbour is always crowded with fishing boats and yachts and along with gabled houses at the water’s edge.
Logan’s Well has a plaque depicting the records of the Hudson Bay Company between 1670 and 1891 and the visits of Captain Cook’s ‘Resolution’ and ‘Discovery’ in 1780, and also that of Sir John Franklin’s boat the ‘Terror’ in 1845 for his Arctic expedition.
