URPoint Details
A well known resort in a delightful setting to the north of Strath Conan and has chalybeate springs and is an ideal touring base for the Highlands and the beautiful lochs and mountains of Wester Ross.
Ben Wyvis the highest mountain in Easter Ross rises to 3,429ft.
A clan battle took place here in 1478 and has a commemorative pillar carved with an eagle near the old pump.
To the north is Castle Leod dating from 1616.
To the east is the ridge of Druim Chat on which stands the vitrified fort of Knock Farril.
