URPoint Details
A small but popular resort near Loch Fyne on the Cowal peninsula, once the original seat of the McArthur Campbells whose mansion dates from 1783.
The road leading inland gives access to Loch Eck a long narrow loch surrounded by hills, the highest of which is Beinn Bheula at 2,557ft.
