Stoke Goldington country walks

Church walk (2 miles)

This follows Dag Lane to its end and skirts around St Peters Church through the gate on the left. Enter the wood at the first gate and turn left at the crossroads in the centre. On leaving the wood, follow the track to the left and downhill, through a kissing gate and emerge at Old Park Farm back on Dag Lane.

Jarvis Wood

This follows Church Walk to the centre of the wood and turns right to leave Stokepark overlooking the houses on Purse Lane. Pass a pond on the left and follow a line of gates ahead to the left of Jarvis Wood. Turn right around the outside of the wood to see Ravenstone in the distance and recross Purse Lane and on down the hill. Return left across pasture and follow the edge of Stokepark Wood back to St Peters Church.

Wolversfield walk (4 miles)

This follows footpaths through the site of old Wolversfield Manor. Enter Stokepark Wood via Dag Lane and walk through to the far end. Go diagonally to the right across the arable field and to a group of young trees. Follow the track to the farm, crossing a stile into a paddock. After the old moat pond, cross the road onto a field edge path as far as a stile. Go over and straight ahead to Jarvis
