Stiffkey (prounounced stoo-kie)
Interesting shops including four selling antiques are an attraction to this little flint and brick village on the edge of the marshes between Wells and Blakeney.
Stiffkey Hall was built in 1578 and of the original large flint building all that remains is the west wing together with some of the ruins of earlier sections destroyed by fire in the 18th century and a gatehouse dated 1604.
