The village lies about half a mile from any main road and can be approached by any of four roads coming from Ryburgh, Guist, Wood Norton and Fulmodeston.
These country roads are just superb in spring with green verges, primroses, dog roses in summer and blackberries in autumn. These roads bring you into the village with its medieval church, village sign and Methodist chapel.
