Staunton Harold Church, (NT) is one of the very few churches to be built during the Commonwealth, erected by Sir Robert Shirley, an ardent Royalist. The interior retains its original 17th century cushions and hangings, and includes fine panelling and painted ceilings. The wrought iron screen was designed by Robert Bakewell.
The Church is in an attractive parkland setting, with Staunton Harold Hall nearby.
