URPoint Details
This attractive village of mellowed stone houses claimed to be one of the most perfect in the Cotswolds.
Its state of preservation and unified traditional design is due largely to the work of the late Sir Philip Scott, who lived at Stanton Court for many years until his death.
At the centre of the village stands an 18th-century cross on a 12th-centry base.
Stanton Court and Warren House are notable Jacobean residences.
The Manor House is of the Tudor period, though parts of it may be of an earlier date.
