The spacious and largely medieval Church of St Denys has Perpendicular porches, medieval ceilings, 14th century arcades and aisles. The piscina in the chancel has a rare canopy over it, believed to have been a former reliquary. The 14th century stained glass figures are in the heads of the chancel East and South windows. The Jacobean font is enclosed by an ornately carved wooden structure, complete with cover. The big churchyard has many attractive old headstones.
