The westernmost town in England sits above a wooded inlet where the waterways of several rivers meet including the Fal and Porthcuel.
The large medieval church has a stone from the 5th or 6th century and the words on it XP are the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ. There are two restored wall hangings, one shows Christ ‘blessing the trade).
