URPoint Details
This village is actually a city as it has a fine, but small cathedral dating from AD573, although part Norman and part 15th century it was restored in 1870 by Sir Gilbert Scott the famous church restorer.
Cefn Caves southwest of the village has some fascinating relics of prehistoric man and the bones of bears, bison and reindeer, some experts think they could be fifty thousand (50,000) years old.
