Founded in 1887 by Dr John Wilson in St Mary’s College, South Street, but moved to its present location in 1960.
18 acres of impressive landscaped gardens and glasshouses with a wide range of plants which have won international recognition, and there are peat, rock, heath and water gardens bounded by the Kinness Burn.
