Disabled parking available; disabled visitors may be set down outside the sales point. The grassed area around the Palace is wheelchair accessible; there are a number of external interpretation boards. The Great Hall and Davies Tower are not accessible. Car park; toilets; shop and picnic area.
The Palace was the residence of the Bishops of Moray from the 14th century to 1686. The site is dominated by the massive tower built by Bishop David Stewart and affords spectacular views across Spynie Loch.
The beauty of the surroundings and the substantial wildlife and birdsong make the Palace a wonderful place to visit.
