Sproughton House is 17th century and the tithe barn of the same era was handed to the villagers in 1978 and has been restored and is now the local sports and recreation hall.

The village sign on the green depicts the mill and the legendary Wild Man.
The Picturesque Mill and Mill house date from the 1600's. The 18th century mill was last used in 1947 and still attracts many artists.
