At Spott Loan is a Witches Stone commemorating the last to be burnt south of the Forth suffered her fate here.
There are some prehistoric remains here and among them hut circles and cairns.
In the church is a beautifully preserved carved 18th century pulpit with a sounding board.
The jougs still hang near the door and near the gate is an old watch-house.
