URPoint Details
The Butter Cross is partly 14th century and the church of St James retains some of the original Decorated work and has some interesting 14th to 16th century monuments with effigies.
Sir John Franklin was born here in 1768 and led expedition which discovered NorthWest Passage in 1848.
