The Huntingdon to Thrapston road has been rebuilt as a by-pass to form part of the M1-A1 link.
An attractive village with cottages, and some lovely old houses clustering round the green. More recent amenities are the village hall and recreation ground.
The bridge over the Alconbury Brook tributary is 15th century and is a very interesting structure.
The church has a splendid spire that soars over 150ft high, another feature is its ornate Norman north doorway.
