URPoint Details
A village with the Great Ouse on the west and the Little Ouse to the south meeting at Brandon Creek on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border.
The flat fertile land, which is below sea level, surrounds the village on the east, south and west with heavier soil on the slightly higher ground to the north. Ely Cathedral can be seen from many points.
The church of St Mary's has an impressive spire and overlooks the village. A plaque in the church contains all the names of the rectors since 1300.
