Near the Somerset border has many fine buildings especially Long Arms Inn which is 15th century.

The 17th century church is 15th century and much restored. The tower dates back to the 13th century and has a saddle-back roof which is most unusual in this part of the country and there are some splendid tombs of the Long family are interesting.

The medieval manor house dates from the 15th century was started by Robert Long in the 15th century and built round three sides of a court and the gatehouse has an oriel window and the hall is also of this period.
