South Foreland Lighthouse, (NT) - St Margaret's

A distinctive lighthouse on the White Cliffs of Dover with views to France.
The lighthouse was built in 1843 and used by Marconi for first radio communications as an aid to navigation in 1898.
Tower and information room are open (cottage tenanted) and you can climb the spiral staircase or balcony around the light.
