A thatched cottage home of the souter (cobbler) who inspired the character Souter Johhnie in Robert Burns’ poem ‘Tam o’Shanter’.

There is Burns memorabilia, a reconstructed workshop and a restored alehouse with life-size stone figures of Burn’s characters.
