URPoint Details
The river has some little islands and a mile downstream from the village St Patrick’s Stream merges with the London tributary before rejoining the Thames just beyond Shiplake, the river is spanned by an eleven-arched bridge, one of the oldest in the county.
A still secluded village and one of the prettiest of all the riverside villages in the county with thatched timber-framed cottages, mellowed red brick houses and an old mill.
