URPoint Details
An attractive town on the banks of the River Cary and has some very fine buildings including octagonal market cross dating from 1673 and there some houses dating from both the 16th and 18th centuries.
The Hext Almshouses date from 1626 and the White Hart Hotel supposedly sits on Somerton Castle.
