Elizabethan Hall of red brick was re-built in 1846 and contains fine paintings, woodcarvings and stately rooms.
12 acres of gardens set among beautiful trees and shrubs, where the Victorian greenhouses provide many attractive flowers. The highlight of the garden is the clipped yew maze which is spectacular.
A miniature railway runs on Sunday and Thursday from 3pm, and is well worth the visit.
The Loggia Tea room provides very good cream teas, fresh homemade cooking in spacious and very friendly surroundings.
