Walking around the village and along the coast is the best way to see this part of Norfolk
The Market Place, in the centre of the village, has a good selection of shops, houses and a pub, all built of mainly of carrstone which is still quarried. These golden brown houses are known as Gingerbread Houses.
The Old Hall is 17th century and built of carrstone and brick. A distinguished house with Dutch gables over the two bays.
