URPoint Details
The 16th century Tower, built on an outcrop of rock above Eden Water, was a favourite haunt of Sir Walter Scott, who lived near it during his childhood when he was sent to his grandfather's farm near Roxburgh.
A simple, rectangular tower is still in a good state of preservation, and houses a collection of costume figures and tapestries relating to Sir Walter Scott's 'Minstrels of the Scottish Borders'.
