URPoint Details
The Norman Church of St Laurence still retains much of its Norman work including the doorway adorned by chevron moulding and with carved capitals. The nave, the chancel and tower are all 12th century. The roof in four bays is 15th century and the font was created by Norman craftsmen. One of the church’s treasures is a fascinating 16th century almsbox with three locks. There are many ancient yews in the churchyard
