Sissinghurst Castle Garden, (NT), 1m E of village, 2m NE of Cranbrook. Open April to mid-October, Tuesday to Friday 1-6.30pm. Saturday, Sunday & Good Friday 10am-5.30pm. Closed all Mondays including Bank Holidays. Last admission ½hr before closing. Ticket office & exhibition open at 12 on weekdays. Admission charge; shop; licensed restaurant; baby back carriers available; no pushchairs admitted, as paths are narrow and uneven; dogs not admitted to garden, welcome on leads in surrounding areas; picnic area near car park and in grass field in front of castle.
Due to limited capacity of the garden, timed tickets are in operation and visitors may have to wait before admission. Daily visitor numbers are restricted; visitors may still visit the Oast House exhibition, woodland and lakes walks, restaurant and shop. No tripods or easels in the garden.
Disabled parking is level; access to garden over grass and track; disabled drivers may park near ticket office; disabled passengers may be set down at ticket office before car is parked. Garden: steps at a number of points may be difficult; route maps provided. Toilets at ticket office and restaurant on level ground. Shop access is possible,
