St Mary's Church and the base of an Anglo-Saxon preaching cross standing beside it, lie in a churchyard islanded in a field. One of the two bells dates from the 13th century, and is one of the three oldest in Oxfordshire. The churchwarden's staff was presented by Mrs Birch, wife of the then vicar and the first lady churchwarden in the country.
