An attractive little village in the south of the county where owls hoot, Canada geese fly into the moats and where wild flora and fauna flourish well.
The Perpendicular church was built after the death of Sir Ralph Shelton in 1497. The decorated flint west tower and has magnificent 15th century stained glass windows.
The interior has a beautiful set of Royal Arms of William III above the tower arch, the brasses to the Shelton family and one to Sir Robert Houghton dated 1623.
