Disabled level car park near entrance. Garden: easy access, most paths firm and level with exception of woodland path beyond lower lakes; shop has easy access. Picnic area adjoining the car park.
A magnificent 100 acre landscape garden, with 5 lakes linked by cascades and waterfalls, laid out in the 18th century by 'Capability' Brown. Carpeted with daffodils and bluebells in spring, its rhododendrons, azaleas and stream garden are spectacular in early summer. In autumn the garden is ablaze with colour. Its collection of rare trees and shrubs makes the garden wonderful to visit at any time of the year
