Visitors with wheelchairs, mobility scooters and limited mobility can relax and enjoy their day. Free Disabled parking at Kidderminster, Bewdley and Bridgnorth only. specially adapted heritage carriages have been adapted to accommodate wheelchairs and electric scooters, with wider double doors and, portable access ramps, space to move on board and an accessible toilet. Each of these carriages carries its own ramp, to facilitate access for wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs.
The railway is 16 miles long and runs from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster via Bewdley. Along the route there are superb views of the River Severn and the train should be pulled by a steam locomotive from the railway's large collection.
Catering facilities are available at most stations and on most trains. There are picnic sites along the route as well as numerous chances for walks. With the historic towns of Bridgnorth and Bewdley, plus the Country Park at Highley, the railway is worth more than one visit.
