Selborne The Church of St Mary the Virgin is Norman with its Perpendicular tower arch. In the church there is a 16th century Flemish triptych showing the Adoration of the Magi winged by St Andrew and St George, and a Flemish sculpture also of the same period showing the Descent from the Cross. There is also a window to Gilbert White showing St Francis feeding birds, and in the churchyard is a huge old tree surrounded by a seat.
