URPoint Details

Now an ancient monument where sheep graze in the 12th century aisle-less nave and chancel. It has a Romanesque foundation and was the site of a Saxon chapel built by Thegn of Segenhoe. A public footpath leads from an iron kissing gate through fields to the village, passing behind the Duke of Bedford's "new style" cottages built in 1910.
