URPoint Details
A small fishing village that has been turned into a tourist resort with stretches of dunes and fine sandy beaches.
Boats from here take visitor out to the Farne Islands between 2 and 5 miles off the coast. Where the barren slopes and cliffs made up of fragments of the Great Whin Sill volcanic rocks, and provide seabirds with ideal nesting grounds.
