Disabled parking on level with easy access to garden entrance. Garden: very steep in places effort is needed to push a wheelchair up the slopes. Paths are easy except for those up to the Bastion viewpoint or down into the Quarry where wheelchairs are not advisable. Shop has easy access.
One of England's most romantic gardens, surrounding the ruins of a 14th century moated castle. Rhododendrons, azaleas, water lilies and wisteria flower in profusion.
