Gaelic - Sgain (pronounced SKOON)
Famous for the former Abbey to the west of Perth on the road to Blairgowrie with the River Tay nearby was destroyed in 1559.
In the park within the Palace grounds is the well preserved Cross of Scone and a group of Sacred Stones.
