Scolt Head Island by boat from Brancaster Staithe is open daily. The Reserve has extensive salt marshes and sand dunes.

Ask the ranger to arrange a guided tour to Scolt Head Island. The each and tidal foreshore cover over 2100 acres and 4½ miles of sand dunes, salt marshes and a nature reserve including the site of the Roman Fort of Branodunum.
Nature Trail nearly 1 mile long is a spit of sand and shingle on the North Norfolk Coast which can only be reached by boat. It is a well-known reserve for many different types of birds and plant life. Local boatmen ferry visitors to the island from Brancaster Staithe. Times vary according to the tide.
