URPoint Details
The Church of St Swithun has an effigy of a 14th century woman on a tomb where the love of a little dog is recorded and lies curled up at the feet of its mistress. The church is a large cruciform building of ironstone and both the octagonal south piers and the west tower are medieval.
The font is believed to be older than the original church.
