Picnics welcome on front lawn; no dogs allowed. Road verge parking. Chapel access is via two small steps; portable ramp available; wheelchair users are advised to enter through side gate.
A First World War memorial built in the 1920s, and notable for the paintings by Stanley Spencer of war scenes in Salonica, which cover the chapel walls. The outstanding English monument to painting of the pioneering years of the 20th century (Pevsner).
