Two wheelchairs can fit in our modified carriages but they can also be left securely at the Ticket Office if there is no room on board the train. If you need any help then please just ask a member of the Train Crew who are there to help you enjoy your journey.
Open Easter to mid-September 1.30-5pm. Saturday and Sundays weather permitting. Advisable to phone for other open times.
Delightful small gauge railway running through the Valley Gardens to the more formal Italian Gardens and tea lawn. From here visitors can walk further into the wild Riftswood or visit the Woodlands Centre. The locomotive ‘Prince Charles’ was introduced in 1953 and the railway is operated by volunteers.
