Salle - Church of St Peter and St Paul

Salle (pronounced Saul) St Peter and St Paul’s Church The Street is 15th century. It is one of the most inspiring churches and was built by three local families, the Briggs, the Fontaynes and the Boleyns. The tower is 126ft high and the church is 171ft long with a very impressive interior with a unique font, pulpit and wonderful woodwork. There are many brasses to the families. Anne Boleyn is supposedly buried in the church but there is no documented proof.
