URPoint Details
The island's chief entry port, connected to Portsmouth by ferries and hovercraft. There are almost seven miles of sandy beaches with a half-mile long pier, esplanade and gardens.
The town stands on steep hills and where the steeple of the parish Church of All Saint’s towers over the skyline.
