Royal North Devon Golf Club

Founded 1864, the great seaside links are the oldest in England and in earlier days ranked second to Hoylake in importance. Ponies and sheep still wander the fairways giving a flavour of earlier times. Pot bunkers and sea rushes, a fearsome vegetation that can impale a golf ball, are features of this historic 18 holes course.
