Royalties cafe-bar is open 11am-3pm & 6pm. Car parking in multi-storey car parks; minimum age 9 years; not suitable for people with walking difficulties as there are numerous flights of stairs, particularly backstage; flat shoes are preferred.

Opened in 1884, The Royal Theatre is a beautiful example of a Victorian pit theatre, adorned with plush trimmings, uniquely decorated safety curtain and Waterford crystal chandelier. The theatre produces between 9 and 10 main house shows a year, including a truly traditional family pantomime. It is the permanent home of the Northampton Repertory Players.
