Rous Lench

There are 5 little villages all within a stone’s throw of each other that bear the name Lench.

Rous Lench is the largest and prettiest of the villages. It takes its name from the Rouses a local family, one of whom built most of the houses in the 19th century that stand around the shady village green.
The old manor house is famous for its topiary yew gardens which date back 300 years, and can be glimpsed from the main road.
