URPoint Details
The delightful 13th century rich red stone St Mary's church has a spire that dominates the river cliffs of the river Wye. The approach from St Mary's Street, by the Plague Cross and the yew trees make this a church not to be missed. The east window has four complete 15th century figures, the Markye Chapel has two large Perpendicular arches supported on an octagonal pier and some of the monuments are very interesting.
